  1. I've started collecting kits last year, now I have almost 30+ kits in me. My latest find is a Fluminense 2013 away kit, which I bought for PHP199 (about £3).

I go to second hand stores (called ukay-ukay stores here in the Philippines) to buy kits. For now, I'm collecting old shirts but will plan to buy newer ones once I get a steadier job.

Unfortunately, I ruined some of the shirt sponsors because we use an automatic washing machine (I live with a cousin rn). I reallly regret putting it on the dryer, and hopefully will do the washing myself soon.

Starting a collection can be fun, but it really takes right financial discipline and passion to do it. Thank you for the inspiraton and advice on maintaining a kit collection.

  2. I only collect jerseys to replace my boring and dull regular t shirts, not gonna sell them btw. I only collect home jersey because they're very awesome to me. So far I only have 1 jersey and that's Messi's Argentina jersey from 2022 World Cup. Also it doesn't have to be a player version since they're expensive and football isn't popular in my country so they wouldn't even tell the differences between fake and real. Also who would even order from a store with 4 week delivery, that's way too long, an overseas order from Shopee isn't longer than 12 days, that's where I brought my jersey.

  3. I just collect shirts whose designs I like, mostly national e.g. Japan and Mexico. But have been making it a practice over the past year to collect club shirts when I visit overseas countries/cities. That really makes the trips more fun and looking at these shirts brings back memories. So the past year I have been to Vietnam, Singapore and am heading to Indonesia in a few days 😬

  4. I know its 1 yr old, but i have just started collecting, and i have about 21 shirts and many of them are retro frankfurt shirts and couple of newer ones and the others are some shirts i have got as gift. I have one signed shirt, its Kostic's shirt.

  5. I´ve started my collection about three years ago and have a little more than 110 shirts by now, athough some of them are fake. But I don´t mind that to be honest. It´s just fun to collect!

  6. Love the vid Ellis I collect jerseys from my local area (Lincolnshire), got some really nice classics and also some great clean modern kits! As well as this I like to get myself template kits from the 90's, the designs are incredible and they just don't make them like that anymore!

Keep up the great work with your footballing journey
