7. I stumbled on two ebay listing's thinking they were genuine merch of the football team. But it was too cheap. Not realizing the red flags, I was the proud owner of two counterfeit shirts. And honestly, compared to the real genuine licenced shirts, they are pretty darn close. I wear the two fakes for heavy days. Meaning I don't have to worry about watching my every move to make sure I don't damage the genuine shirts. As for quality of the fakes, I've washed both fakes only a few times and it's starting to peel on the sponsor letters. Unlike the legit shirts where they are still undamaged.

11. The World Cup winner badge on the fake, the badge is a similar one they used on the player issue jersey, which is why you prefer one a bit more. The original one, the badge isn’t as clean because they wanna keep the fan issue version of the badge as budget friendly to the fan who might want to get said jersey with it

19. The stars on the fake jersey are far apart from each other. And the patches don't count when you're comparing shirts, because you may want to customize your shirt later, and if your shirt is original and you buy the patch from a non-reliable source, that won't make your shirt fake!

21. I actually just bought the fake one with Messi’s name and number and it’s pretty good, doesn’t feel or fits as an original but for the price I think it’s fair

I just recently bought the Argentina World Cup 2022 champions jersey and I bought a Messi number and 10 to print on but then adidas launched their official Messi Argentina World Cup jersey so I bought that one too and the numbers are different like the texture and all so I’m like which is legit cuz the adidas version is official but different from what Messi wears in games

26. the only authentic jerseys i have are because i got them for huge deals, or second hand retros, besides that i go for replicas. that does not mean i dont love my club. jerseys are one of the most biggest scams in football. absolutely no shame on buying replicas.
