This is a bet that is mostly used by the punters who believe that a particular game will be a high scoring one or it will be real tough football betting game resulting in a very low score for both the teams. This is the football betting where a punter needs to predict on the number of goals that teams are going to score; to be more precise it is the number of goals that you think will be over or under the predictions made by the bookie. For instance, if a bookie predicts that the number of goals in a match will be 1.5 goals in a match, you bet an over if you feel that there will be more than 2 goals and under if you feel there will be 1 or no goals. So, there is a good possibility of higher number of goals and this can be particularly great for the punters who bet on the over/under.

b)Derby games are the ones that are likely to finish with lesser goals. So, this thing is to be kept in the mind while betting for an over or under.  This is because teams playing in the Derby league do not open up very easily.  

c)There are basically two theories that guide the teams when they play; the first tells them that it is better to score the first goal and win the match and the other tells the teams to concede lesser goals than the opponents. The first is generally followed by teams like Spain and Germany and the second is followed by teams like Italy. So it is necessary to look at the stats of the coach along with the team stats before putting the bets.

d)Look out for any types on the teams like injuries, news and banned players. Since, it is the attackers who score most of the goals so do not put your bets if there is the absence of attackers in a team. Also, the defense has some importance because a team will concede huge number of goals if the defense is weak.

To put the under or over bets you do not need to be rocket scientist but someone who loves to do in depth analysis. Only analysis can bring you rewards in football betting!

What do these two random newsclips (there are many, many more each week) tell us?

Well, first of all that celebrities have a sexlife as well (duhh).

Secondly, that some celebrities are into forms of kinky sex. No wonder, 30 percent of the adult population in the western world at the very least has fantasies about alternative lifestyles and kinky sex, so statistically one out of each three celebrities is likely to be into that kind of thing.

The question is, is this actually news? Well, while a more or less public spanking – especially in front of a former US-president – will certainly make the headlines that doesn’t mean it qualifies as «news». Had it been Jane Doe, singing at her grandma’s birthday party nobody would have bothered. So, just because it happens to celebrities, it triggers the attention of the media.

Let’s not forget that – again according to the above statistics – one out of every three reporters also has such fantasies, or actually is actively involved in some form of alternative sexuality. That we do not hear about of course.

From a simple, basic journalistic point of view …. if 1/3 of the population does it all the time, it is probably very common. That is why nobody reports about the fact that people go to football or baseball stadiums to watch their favorite team play. That is why watching a sitcom will not get you on the New York Times’ front page. That is why eating a slice of pizza will not make you famous. Simply because these are activities almost everyone does every now and then. And actually «kinky sex» is no different.

A survey by the Powerotics Foundation revealed that no mainstream television soap can be successful without the occasional «damsel in distress» action. If it is such a powerful sales argument, why not use it, instead of condemning it?

Right, no messing around please. The Player of the Year award this season will come down to two players – Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba. It’s as simple as that.

I have a funny feeling that the winner will more than likely be determined on whoever happens to be playing for the more successful team. What I mean by this is if Chelsea wins the title and/or the European Cup then I’d probably be putting my cash on the Ivory Coast international to just nudge ahead. Vice-versa if the Red Devils cart home the silverware obviously.

Some might say that my forecast is pretty obvious but we all know that a player can have a fantastic season, and still be left out of the reckoning. The stand out example has to be Alan Shearer. For me he was the best player in the Premiership for six or seven years on the spin, but because of his empty trophy cabinet, often lost out to lesser players.

I think it’s rare that two players have such fantastic seasons but with both Manchester United and Chelsea pulling so far clear it’s hard to see past those two sides for possible candidates. And on the rare occasions when those two sides have struggled, it’s been the players in question who have really come up with the goods.

I’ll put my neck on the line and back the Chelsea man, purely on his significant improvement from last season. And after all, as an England fan you have to hate Cristiano Ronaldo. I don’t think enough time has passed just yet…only joking of course.

It’s a difficult one to call but we’ll just have to see…
