We are talking about a three-year multi-million dollar contract, according to Interia Sport journalist Sebastian Staszewski. The 33-year-old striker announced his decision not to re-sign the cooperation with Bayern Munich to the management of the Munich club. The current contract runs until the summer of 2023. It has been reported that Bayern are demanding 65 million euros for Lewandowski, but the amount could be lower when other players are included. Barcelona have asked his agent, Pini Zahavi, to make Bayern’s asking price a bit less: something like between 25 and 30 million. Robert had three more particular bids from PSG, Manchester City and Liverpool. Barcelona are preparing for the striker a 2-3 year deal with a salary of 35-40 million euros per year before taxes. Xavi had a conversation with Lewandowski in order to explain the project and convince Lewandowski to make the decision.
