I'm not saying he's the only issue on the team, but their shift from playing to their most apparent strength last season, which was a counter-attacking system, was effectively scrapped as soon as Ronaldo became part of the team.

   I am not berating Ronaldo or downplaying his individual quality, but whoever made the decision to bring him into this Man United team is absolutely incompetent at team building. I've seen endless "Ronaldo is saving Ole" memes on the internet, but it's incredibly clear to me that those clutch goals he's scored since his arrival do not compensate for forcing the team to shift away from the only playing style that Man United's player have demonstrated that they excel at, which is counter attacking football.

So it's hard to gauge exactly what the team dynamics are when all your seeing is their behaviour post-game on the pitch. I'm not saying Gary doesn't have a point, but we can't jump to conclusions without knowing what's going on behind closed doors.. which of course we dont.
