Barcelona gets closer to transfer Sterling
Sport.es, The Times

Barcelona’s chances of signing Raheem Sterling in the winter transfer window were increased! According to the Sport newspaper, the Manchester City winger is leaning towards leaving the team due to lack of playing time.

Barça has a room for registering a new player for the current season, and Xavi wants it to be Sterling. Besides, The Times adds that Raheem is open to moving to the blaugranas camp on a loan basis.

In case nothing works out with Sterling, Barcelona will switch to alternative options. The club’s transfer shortlist includes three Chelsea players at once – Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi. The Catalans will attempt to loan one of them, states Sport

Xavi plans to return Thiago Alcantara
Mundo Deportivo

Xavi doesn’t forget about the former Barça players too! Mundo Deportivo notes the blaugranas are going to try arranging a loan for Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara in January.

During the winter transfer window Barcelona will be looking for a boost among players who barely have play time in their teams and are therefore willing to consider loan offers. Thiago is just the perfect candidate to fit the mentioned scheme.

According to the source, the Spanish midfielder is unhappy with the minutes for football practice he is given at Anfield, tending to return to the Camp Nou. What’s more, the Merseysides’ themselves don’t mind letting him go.

  1. i think adeymi will completely flop if he joins barca. i honestly think de jong is still better than him. of course he has potential. he would be a player juve buy and than loan to play at genoa

  2. Love how neymar joins PSG and plays badly and gets injury prone and people were bashing him, and then messi does the same thing yet nobody says anything hateful

  3. You're going to compare messi's dribbling with other players that are actually putting in a effort to play for their team at the moment you can clearly see that Messi is in a PSG shirt but clearly see that physically and mentally he's not prepared to play for PSG he doesn't want to actually give it if it's all by the very clear giveaway of his game he hasn't tried showing nowhere near even half of what he could do at Barca
