  1. BREAKING NEWS: Romelu Lukaku publicly apologises to his junior school football coach and team-mates for leaving in 2004.

In an emotional statement, Lukaku says he 'deely regrets' the circumstances surrounding his departure, adding that he was 'strictly compelled by educational law' to move on to a senior school due to his age increasing.

He has, however, promised all the parents he will return one day whilst he is still in 'peak condition'.

  2. # LUKAKU…………NOT

what the hell did chelsea board see in lukaku in the first place… I dont get it

he cannot play effectively with back against the post / not particularly quick or fast / cant seem to out run top defenders / seems to labor alot after 5 secs burst

not a skilled dribbler / extremely clumsy in traffic / falls down too easily for a big guy

  3. Never thought Carragher talks any sense most times but he's definitely bang on bcus what Lukaku says is being exaggerated for a story and TT needs to put him back in the team end of bcus everyone knows the team is very defensive and lack creativity like a City of L'Pool so they need Lukaku to score the goals to win games as we don't look like we can score like City or Liverpool

  4. my understanding Is Lakaku doesn't speak perfect Italian and he said words that surely have been taken out of context..
I believe Lakaku needs to tell the Chealsea fans this or at worst apologise for how his words have sounded…Then move on…
TBH I didn't see or hear anything that bad…Saying he's upset because of missing some games is simply a man who wants to play football..I think its all just been blown up by media…

  5. If he was a man United under Ferguson, he would be gone ,100% ,90+ seem like a bad investment now he better get use to coming of the bench for the rest of his contact

  6. Lukaku is not good enough for Chelsea – he just waits for the ball to come to him. And no – he is not a top striker – he does act like one. Its beter without his help.

  7. It wasn't smart but it wasn't the worst thing ever. Chill. Everybody forgets it in 1 week, don't make it so big in the first place.

  8. Lukaku does not have to apologize to anyone. This is persecution against black players to stop them from reaching the top. Look at what they did to Auba at Arsenal. Lukaku is one the greatest, power-forward strikers of our generation, yet they want him to apologize for complaining when not being put to play! Come on! There is a reason whey they kneel before the PL games. This issue is real, and black players are facing it – but they will not shut up or be intimidated.

  9. Lukaku seems to repeat the same story at each club. He signs for big money, makes a storming start, performance level drops, agent or him drop statements in the media that get things unsettled, linked with other clubs, moves on for big money and another big slice of transfer money. Guy is a liability.

  10. The only person who knows what Lukaku was trying to do is himself. I can't decide if he was trying to play politics with tuchel or just keeping his relations with Inter sweet, maybe a bit of both. I think there is a bit of damaged ego in lukaku thinking he was the missing piece to the puzzle at his boyhood club and forcing a move, only to find himself benched.

  11. Who can blame Tuchel for bench him even before Liverpool game and try different tactics? This guy hasnt score for long period of time when he still playing regular. Even myself playing Football Manager game buy the most expensive player and didn't perform I will start to bench him for the sake of result. And this is real life, team at the stake, table possition, and most important his career and target as Chelsea manager. Shame on this player. He should show off in training ground and get back in place. Not crying in media blamming manager tactic while he is not performing
