USC Trojans Football Schedule Analysis 2011

The USC Trojans’ football schedule is filled with challenges, but Lane Kiffin has never been a coach to run from a challenge and will have the team prepared to fight in the newly formed Pac-12 south. The only obstacle is that the team is ineligible for any postseason play and a large part of this season will be about playing for school pride.

USC Trojans Football Schedule in September

The schedule starts off very favorable for the team with three home games against Minnesota, Utah and Syracuse at The Coliseum, which should build the team some confidence and wins. The Trojans better be prepared to go to war in Week 4 and Week 5 of the season because they will have very competitive games against Arizona State and Arizona. Coach Erickson and Coach Stoops will be looking to pound USC this season because getting a win could be very instrumental in landing top recruits for both programs going forward.

USC Trojans Football Schedule in October

After a brief break in the early part of October the team better be prepared to play their best ball of the season because the rest of the month will be no easy gauntlet to get through. The Trojans have tough road games against the Cal Golden Bears and the (16) Notre Dame Fighting Irish. One of the biggest challenges for the team will be on October 29th, when Andrew Luck and the (7) Stanford Cardinals make a visit to The Coliseum.

USC Trojans Football Schedule in November

The season will come to a conclusion for the team in November with nothing but a little pride at stake. The USC Trojans’ football schedule features two cold weather games in November at Colorado and Oregon. The 3rd ranked Ducks will be the toughest challenge of the schedule for the team. With the frustration of no postseason play, Kiffin will be looking to dominate Steve Sarkisian and the Huskies this year. The season concludes with the standard UCLA-USC rivalry against Rick Neuheisel, which if the Trojans win will help the season end on a positive note. The program is going through a difficult time being on probation right now, but if they put together a successful season this year, it will ensure that the program will quickly be on track to potentially win a national championship after the probation ends.

The USC Trojans football team is primed to be competitive for years to come.
