When Israel attacked Palestine, nothing was done. As a matter of fact, America supported them. War shouldn't be interfered with football – a language that fuses the world together into one race. Banning Roman Abramovich from entering the UK is unfair. Temporarily banning Russia from participation in European competitions and the World Cup is also unfair. Lives may have been lost, as they've been in the past, but I don't see adequate reasons behind the temporary ban. Russia is doing what any nation would do to keep their defenses immune to future attacks. America wouldn't allow Russia build a military base in any of their borders. FIFA is political footballing body, without a shadow of a doubt.?

How do you convince one to stop the war by showing hate and being unfair? How do you tell a Russian that you are not against him/her by banning his football team which has nothing to do with politics? Did the national team qualify the World Cup for not invading Ukraine? These masses of sanctions which affect ordinary Russians directly than officials are not and have never been to promote peace but it's a deeply ingrained bigotry towards Russians. If this is not xenophobia, I don't know what is. Or is this to provoke more a nuclear nation? God, help us all.
All Russian athletes must be banned ASAP including footballers regardless what they say or not say about Russia's assault on Ukraine.When they play in The West they act like we do here and accuse us of discriminating them on nationality grounds…well…unlike Russians we don't kill innocent women children elderly etc. ,so we need to use a different way to punish Russians athletes ,so they can feel the impact of Russia's assault on another sovereign country.They must all come back to Russia being short of money,so they can use their influence on supporters and eventually quite this war by taking to the streets and then they all can come back to the West to carry on with making money…period!

I believe that Ukraine has been hoodwinked by the West before its proposal to join NATO. The West had plans to use Ukraine as a chess piece to undermine and harass Russia. As long as Russia do nothing and the war becomes protracted, Russia will be slowly dragged down by economic sanctions, and then the next target will be China.

I did not see Fifa ban England from Euro 2004 and WC 2006 for the invasion of Iraq. Or after Libya and Syria England getting banned from Euro 2012 and WC 2014. English clubs and England team being banned from all competition. Clearly FIFA is biased towards untouchable holier than thou England. England as usual get away with it scot free. Although for football violence English clubs were kicked out for 6 years. So that is a rare good thing Fifa and Uefa did. So Russia get banned but no punishments for England?! What an unfair world we live in. Sad.
I have never liked English football. Hopefully this will tank the English league which I have always maintained is a crap over rated league. Hopefully the Italian Serie A will be become the number one league again after this is all over.
