The representative of Azerbaijan, Mahir Emreli (24), is a new addition to Dinamo, the Croatian football champion announced.
Emreli comes to Maksimir from the Polish Legion, which he played for since June last year. Before that, this universal offensive player played for Baku and Karabakh.
He made 32 appearances for the national team of Azerbaijan with four goals scored. He made his debut for the national team in 2017 under the leadership of the then selector Robert Prosinecki, and in the national team of Azerbaijan he was also led in the selector’s role by the former Dinamo striker and coach Nikola Jurčević.
This season he played in the Legion jersey 33 games in all competitions and scored 11 goals with two assists.
