34. You lost me at rangers was a huuuuge club. While it’s a club full of history, it isn’t huge… no manager really signs for a club because of the years it has been in existence. Money talks… all managers will want to have pulling power in the transfer market… to make their jobs easier.

38. As long as Phil can stay fit and have the desire to let go of the past few seasons, he could use this few months to get to help the team and see how SG wants him to play.

39. Nothing wrong with Coutinho leaving Liverpool when he did. He had given his heart to the club for so long, and at that point he felt the need to go to another big club. He could have never predicted his injury issues and the shambles that Barca was gonna be in. Hopefully he can come back to EPL and be back to his elite brilliance as before.

He was just another pkayer at Barcelona but he s going to be loved at Villa by the fans and respected and admired by the players and that's got to make a difference to anybody , and with Stevie as his manager who was his captain at Liverpool and he knows he,s going to trust him, so I think it will be really good for Villa and Countinho . I'm a Liverpool fan but I don't think we need him , the ball wouldn't be going through him like it used to so It wouldn't work .
