The Reason Why Ronaldo Jr Wears Mexican National Team Jersey!

Hello our dear football lovers! The Inside Football channel is with you! Today we are back with more interesting updates on Cristiano Ronaldo Jr!

We mostly tell you about Cristiano Junior’s successes at Manchester United academy. Though it must be no surprise that the boy has other things to do – for example, represent his national team! Of course, it’s too early to talk about this so far, but Cristianinho is growing right before our very eyes, we won’t even notice how the time flies by.

Although Junior’s debut for the national team is still far from the occasion, some questions are already beginning to arise: for which country will Ronaldo’s son play? At least because Cristiano Junior’s mother was not born in Portugal. That is why the boy may have a choice of team he would like to perform for in the future. However, there are still many more reasons for the kid to change countries and choose a completely unexpected national team! For example, we have a photo with him in the Mexican national team jersey!

What selection will Cristiano Junior join? Will it be Portugal or are there other options to consider? The guy is 11 years old, soon he will only turn 12. There is still time for a right choice, but we can already speculate on this topic by having a thorough look at the facts!

Shall we dive into this matter together? To begin with, we recall that you can subscribe to our initiative so as not to miss the latest videos. We try to be prompt just for you to enjoy! Ready? Let’s give it a run!

  1. It depends on a few factors: 1) Will he be good enough to play for Portugal? 2) Will he even be good enough to play for USA or Mexico? 3) How good will Portugal be after Ronaldo retires? I remember how in the early 90s, Portugal had a decent but mediocre soccer team. It was around the turn of the century that we saw Figo and the golden generation, and Cristiano Ronaldo a few years later. Portugal has been good for so long now that we’ve come to see them as a traditional power, but there’s no guarantee that they won’t shrink down to League B caliber after Ronaldo. Finally, Ronaldo Jr is essentially soccer‘s version of Bronny James. There is a tremendous amount of pressure on him at such a young age. Will he have the mental toughness to rise up to it, and can we even assume that he has the talent to be a world-class player, just because his father is? I hope he achieves what he wants to accomplish, but let’s not count our chickens yet.

  2. I don't think he can even join the Mexican team, Georgina is Argentinian and that would be betraying his dad lol
Obviously, his biological mother is unknown
USA, he probably won't go for, he barely knows English
    He will go for Portugal
