  1. Regardless of what you say, JJ has done more in 59 throws than Milton has done in is college career. McNamara can read a defense at a journeyman level, which is why he was an instant upgrade from Milton. He does not have a cannon. McCarthy has a cannon and at the very least, reads the defense better than Milton.

  2. I think Michigan will beat ohio state 2 of the next 3 years and than the back and forth brawl will begin again. MSU will insert themselves in there once in a while whith penn state, wisconsin, and Iowa remaining relevant.

  3. I don't understand why people think Cade will not be better this year. Last year was his first year as starter. I do hope JJ starts but I think Cade will benefit from experience

  4. Does Harbaugh have the mental stamina to overcome his deep desire wanting to leave and go to the NFL ? – His schedule is very favorable to be undefeated going to Columbus ! – That's where it stops. — He likely will lose to USC or Utah in the Rose Bowl too. = A 2 loss season – at best.

  5. How it sits right now, I think and want Cade to be the starting QB. I think people are SLEEPING on Cade. I think he’s quietly been putting in the work, and will show everyone how much better he got. He’s not far off in my opinion, it’s small things to work on, he definitely is not bad at reading the defense whatsoever in my opinion.. I can just hear Kirk and Fowler breaking down Cades improvements over the off season. I can’t wait to see what Cade comes with this season. GO BLUE

  6. CM Cade will start, he’s the experienced B1G 10 Champ, JJ is a special talent that should mature even more this season and then it’s his team next year unless he can take over the starting job mid season.

  7. Interesting fact about 2022 Big Ten recruiting ranks:

    Michigan Ranked #3
    Total Commitments | 23
    Five Star Commits | 1
    Four Star Commits | 9
    Three Star Commits | 13

    Ohio State Ranked # 1
    Total Commitments | 21
    Five Star Commits | 2
    Four Star Commits | 17
    Three Star Commits | 2

    Sounds About Right !!!!lol ?.

  8. The problem is not winning the big ten or anything else right now. We have to fix our horrible recruiting. We have coaches that cannot recruit at a high level, and we have taken a nosedive in recruiting since we won the big ten. We have the best running game in the nation pretty much, tell me what 5 star running back is standing in line to come to Michigan. Add to that, we cant recruit another 5 star QB because we hand the ball of 50 times a game. Look, they proved me wrong last year, but the recruiting is horrendous.

  9. Anybody who thinks Cade should start please I implore you to go watch full possessions of last season games not highlights and report back. Cade was absolutely ASS ball comes out low and slow he got away with a lot of bad throws sure he's a B1G championship winning QB but it was won in spite of not because of Cade. Now I don't think JJ will instantly be a some Heisman level QB like the rest of these idiots but I watched every single throw of his senior year in highschool and last season and I can guarantee he will be better than Cade. And you don't get better at playing QB at a high level by sitting on the bench that logic is insane this isn't the 1980s they only way JJ will develop is by playing learning through mistakes early in the season……rant over

  10. We may not have Haskins this year. It was Haskins who opened Cade's passing game last year. I will say it "AGAIN" that J.J. and the running game that Michigan has reminds me of Dan Reeve's offense during Denvers late 80's/early 90's run. McCarthy is elusive with "SOME" speed, he is NOT a runner. His ability is going to allow him to extend plays and get receivers the time to break free and throw darts 20,30,40 yards downfield on the run. This passing and a strong O-line allowed for a huge running game. He is not anything like Trevor Lawerence as I never heard nearly half as much about his leadership off the field that McCarthy has shown. I lived in the deep south in a very mixed fan base community (Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennesee, Clemson and even a fairly large group of Florida and Florida State fans) for 22 of the last 30 years. Hell, when I would sport my Michigan gear I would get 15 to 20 "GO BLUE's" shouted my way over that day (fairly large transplanted automotive worker community from the 70's and 80's).

McCarthy being used on the fly on random, rotating plays led to those fumbles against sparty, not lack of talent. How many three-and-outs did Cade produce during the year with a superior offense, TOO MANY!!!
