With the new season just about to start, we count down 10 teams you should keep an eye on in 2022-23. Man United’s new era under Erik Ten Hag will be fascinating to watch, even if the Red Devils have been unable to secure top target Frenkie de Jong – how the Dutch coach uses the tools at his disposal will be interesting.

It’s also been a summer of change at Juventus, with Paulo Dybala leaving and Paul Pogba returning – could the Bianconeri mount a serious title challenge after two years out of the mix? We also take a look at Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest, whose signing of Jesse Lingard recently made headlines, Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool, who are hoping to see great things from Darwin Nuñez, and Barcelona, whose huge outlays in the transfer market this summer have got rivals Real Madrid checking their shoulder. But who else have we picked out? Watch to find out!

  1. How Arsenal doesn't feature in this list is a massive let-down. I expected them to be 1st or 2nd (behind Barcelona). The only reason I can think of is the editor doesn't like AFC at all.

  2. Don’t understand why RBL is on the list… they are considerably weaker and looks like Laimer could still go… also with Liverpool. They may have a new look attack but they haven’t replaced their aging midfield after their failed attempt on Tschoumeni… also I don’t get why they are “team to watch”… not like we don’t know how good they are and they will be playing similar style of football as before with minor tweaks
