  1. The pass rush is not good enough, Colson had an awful game last week, coaches and JJ did not take advantage of the soft coverage. The entire front seven needs to be better going forward. Lots of work to do if this team is going to make any type of a run for the big ten title.

  2. I thought the pass protection and run blocking was pretty sound all day on Saturday. My observations were JJ's deep ball accuracy was off (which is not really a concern. I trust him 100%), our inability to stop the run and get to the QB with our front four/seven (this is a real concern) and our starting edge rushers can rarely beat the one on one blocks by the OTs. I understand that this was just game four and Michigan's first legitimate test this season. However, it is over-reaction Monday. We need to be able to pressure the QBs without always blitzing someone.

  3. I thought the O-line played pretty well. They blocked well on the run game, gave Blake time to find holes, and gave JJ a lot of time in the pocket. The WRs didn't do a great job of finding soft spots in the defense. In fairness, some of that blame may also fall on the play calling. Edwards playing would have given JJ a more comfortable option in the passing game. JJ had some young moments in the game that I think he learns from going into next week. Defensively we have a solid secondary, the linebackers and defensive line are the concern. Morris and Smith are great run stoppers but don't have the speed to get to the quarterback so someone on the ends will have to step up. Getting Hill Green back should help them out.

  4. ROFLMAO…

Overreaction? Lets see how USC handles "Year One" of Riley at the helm, then lets compare notes with Jimmy and his first year. John Harbaugh sent a 'ringer' to his little brother in an effort to save his career, along with a few dedicated veterans (Hutch / Ojabo) changed the culture. The talented staff members have now left town, leaving Jimmy to his devices once again. So…One… is the only number you need to remember here, very easy because it's the number of big games that Jimmy has won thus far. One big win does NOT a success make; if you wanna get all Yoda.

What I saw Saturday… poor play calling and preparation in droves. Jimmy did not evaluate the competition properly, or set his players up for success; game plan was lackluster at best. He also failed to adjust properly at half time. Last year, though uplifting and positive, will grant Jimmy another 10yrs to lose 9 OSU games, and win 1 more for his 2nd extension. Too bad he won last year, we could have bid on Riley!

  5. It's easy to look at the end result LAST year and think, "we were dominate", or something like that. But, let's not forget that we lost to MSU, and had close wins over PSU, NEB, and RUTGERS. It's not like we blew through the conference. Why would we expect that THIS year? We should expect to get EVERYONES best shot this year. Especially if we beat them bad last year. Iowa is going to play us tougher than most fans expect. Even though I think this team is better than last year, I expect this to be a tougher season. MD, Iowa, PSU, MSU, OSU, are all going to come at us with everything they got. The question isn't, can we beat all these teams. We can. The question is, can we survive the schedule? I think they can. But, it's going to be crazy.

  6. im about 100 percent sure the NFL is rigged bigly, i kinda wonder about NCAA. I almost wonder if that back up RB was told to fumble that ball and a few other calls in that Michigan game really make me wonder. I think Harbaugh was trying to manufacture some adversity so that his team could grow at some other levels
