  1. Michigan hasn’t played ANYONE. Texas has a 60% win rate….still in top 25. The rankings after week 10 are embarrassing. Alabama could be 2-8 and they would still rank them in the top 10. I wish anyone with some sense could please please make rankings that are even remotely accurate.

  2. Penn State is not one of the 8 possible to make the CFP, though their only two losses were to the #2 & #3 teams and they beat the brakes off an SEC team. LSU is there with two losses to the #8 and #24 team. It was beat down coming from the #8 team. Certainly shows the corruption in the esCFPn committee.

  3. The only thing making Oregon a more attractive choice for the CFP than Tennessee is the fact that the Ducks still have a shot to win their conference. Their loss to Georgia is FAR worse than the Vols' loss. Shouldn't matter that it happened in Week 1. The Ducks also don't have the strength of schedule that the Vols do. Not to mention that a precedent has already been set for teams getting in the CFP without being conference champions (Alabama 2017, Georgia 2021… both won the national championship).

All that being said, I won't be too upset if Tennessee does miss the playoff, because (unless something unforeseeably chaotic takes place) they'd still get a New Year's Six bowl game… preferably the Sugar Bowl.

  4. "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something**your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life." **Steve Jobs

  5. Everyone wants change, we don’t want to see the SEC dominate the top 4. But come on, TCU over Tennessee is only to appease the public. If TCU and Tennessee were to play on a neutral site, it would be over before halftime.

  6. Consider that Oregon would likely be #2 right now if played someone like Notre Dame at the beginning of the year instead of Georgia in Georgia. Why did they play Georgia? What value was that game to them?

  7. TCU has won by 8 to SMU (crappy fb team) they won by 10 vs UNRANKED texas tech and west Virginia. And how many top ten teams did they beat? 1 out of 1. They beat number 8 oklahoma st. Okla state lost 48-0 to K-state and lost 16-37 to Kansas (a team that NEVER does anything) so please tell me how that is possible? LOL

  8. If Oregon wins out, and winner of UCLA/USC wins out (preferably both outside of that game to boost resume of other), then it would be incredibly difficult to snub a 1 loss PAC12 champ with 1 or 2 top 10 wins at that point
