Even if Arsenal would go on to win it this year, they would still not be the favourites for next year. We would only say they are closer to Man City and have them listed as the second best team in the league. So NO they are not favourites for the title this year (or next year).
No. Next video.
We atleast need to share points with City and New Castle United or exploit them and if that happens Arsenal is going to the Champion of England in 2022/23.
Nothing is guaranteed in life when it comes to situations and circumstances.there is always turn of events more often than not.there will always be predictions, projections and opinions based on what are the odds in the passage of real life scenarios.pundits in EPL circles are contradicting themselves because of Arsenals performances.Arteta and his unit are not distracted by all the media hype.the unit are focused on there assignment.
No. Although they're good quality for 2nd if not 1st 🤷🏿
Moi je suis pas Anglais je suis français
I’d still be happy 😃 with top 4 need another midfielder like tielemans and maybe a proper out and out striker as Jesus hasn’t scored for about 7-8 games.
Let’s see how they fair against United and Chelsea in January
We don't have football for half of November and 4 5ths of December, so not exactly 2 months. Not even a month and a half.
No. The odds clearly show Man City are top. Arsenal still have to play them twice and finish a season with a squad half the strength of city
Love Arsenal
I would say another big factor arsenal would likely win is VAR. Arsenal had been robbed by ref countless times during the past
Short answer, no. No club can be the favourite for the Premier League in this era of Man City. They've pulled back from 11 points behind Liverpool. They will do it again.
Newcastle have to be favourites
Arteta is the new George graham 3 year rebuild and 18 year drought history is repeating its self
As long as we finish in champions league places it'll still be our best season
I don't think we're favourites, not even in a longshot, but we're up there. That is bloody nice after our recent struggles. It is nice to be challenging.
It's special when you put the players and fans first and Arsenal are living up to that but the key was the youth and respect values Arteta brought back. A lot of people don't realise how great a professional Arteta was
If Arsenal end up with a 15 pt lead then maybe you could say we’re favorites. Otherwise, we are the underdogs and City are still the favorites. Not least given that we are still the youngest team in the league going up against one of the best teams in the world.
It depends on January signings …if Arsenal get it right they are going to amaze everyone!
We are not interested in winning the league, we just want to keep winning our games. COYG
Mik Arteta said it best: the way english media do it is they constantly build you up in order to then bring you down when it all goes wrong.
At this point in time i think arsenal fans are smart enough to avoid that. We’ve been hopeful in defeat and we’ll be humble in victory. COYG❤️🤍❤️🤍
Why haven’t they fired this guy yet? “Aston villa will not beat Manchester United I bet my Job on it” united lose 3-1 to Aston villa
So happy to hear this about My Beloved
I would really like to see more of Darren Lewis and David Ornstein on Sky Sports. They are incredibly articulate and enjoyable to hear from
I actually want arsenal to win it, tired of city winning every year
Who is the bald guy?
If the team can keep their fitness level, forms and confidence after the world cup, then Yes.
if they were 5 points clear with 2 games to go arsenal would still not be title favourites
I love being an arsenal fan right now, I didn't two season ago! We obviously would love to win the title but we never even expected to be even mentioned in the hunt for it let alone been at the top of the table over city! I'm proud of the boys whatever the outcome is 💪🏻
I hate to say this, because I hate to admit it, but Kroenke's experience with Rams, Avalanche, Rapids, and Nuggets have helped with Arsenal sticking with Arteta. NFL, NBA, MLS, NHL there isnt any relegation, so teams can look to the future, even if they were rock bottom, and bring in new talent and pick up college kids in the drafts. Not everything is doom and gloom when a team has a horrendous season. So, I think they knew that Arsenal, even at their worst under Arteta, was never bad enough for a relegation battle. So, they knew they could take the approach of rebuild and be patient and it will work out. Avalanche rebuilt and are solid, Rams rebuilt and won, Nuggets are constantly in playoffs. Steady hand.
Arsenal cannot be favorites with City still still so close. The last few weeks is gonna put Arsenal under tremendous pressure. I’d prefer them to win than City.
Hell no
Arsenal will be sent to their rightful place after the World Cup let ‘em enjoy for awhile now.
No matter what they say about Arsenal i know everything will end in happiness 💯💯💯💯💥🔥🔥😍🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩
Haters tryna jinx us 😁..Our only hope as fans is to keep showing up for each game.. Whatever happens, happens
I enjoyed this debate, These two Guys are what you call analyst well spoken unlike Keane and Jamie their biased opinion
Oh come on!! It's 14 games into the season. History tells us that Arsenal haven't been in with a chance of the title since 2004. With 10 games to go they've been out of the race. So let's see where they are after 28 games. I'd hazard a guess that Man City will be ahead by some way by then but let's see and talk about it then. Not now.
I am not arsenal fan but I am rooting for them. I hope it will be Lester run all over again.
Cant call them favorites yet, they are definitely strong contenders now but to be favorites they need to continue the winning streak for the next 15-20 games to break the spirit of city where they start to see that they cant win the league anymore.
❤
Arteta will be the next Pep G if he wins trophies for Arsenal. Starting with the Premier League. Hope he succeeds in doing better the Professor Arsene W.
How many times are these so called content creators going to milk the same damn topic. This is probably the 30th video in the last 6 weeks from Sky asking the same question
We didnt think wed be here but we are fuckin here!! I see the players playing like they believe they can do it so we need to back them in the same manner and mentality. Were in this title race and we have a headstart. Arsenal need to act on it in january
If Arsenal lose 2 games in a row, these pundits will say otherwise 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
As an arsenal fan I still feel city will beat us to the title, but I'm just hoping we can push them all the way, 2nd would still be a huge achievement. Balance looks brilliant at the moment, just think injuries could affect us
I think the Kroenke's had spent 5/6 years preparing the club for the euro superleague. Why bother spending big, when you can join the uber elite, and then have all the best players begging to join you. I think the death of the super league has forced them to revise their approach. However, that aside, this is all good to see as an arsenal fan.!
I think We will know after January. They play Newcastle spurs and Man U. If they come out of that with 6?or 7 points they become hard to catch!!
