It’s hard to believe, but from now on Cristiano Ronaldo will play in the Saudi Arabian league! Local Al Nassr have announced the signing of a contract with the legendary Portuguese. The agreement is until the end of 2025, and the 37-year-old forward will earn 75 million euros per year. The sum will reach 200 million thanks to commercial payments and the role of the club’s ambassador. Cristiano has commented on his transfer as follows: «I am waiting for experience in a football league in another country. Al Nassr’s vision is inspiring and I am very excited to join my teammates to help the team achieve even greater success together.»

«History is happening today. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success, but will also inspire our league, our nation and future generations of boys and girls to be the best version of themselves. Welcome, Cristiano, to your new home,» Al Nassr said in a statement on Twitter.

Tomorrow, Al Nassr will play a league match against Al-Khaleej. Cristiano will be present at the game. He might make his debut on January 5th in the game against Al-Tai.

  1. SA will be the place to go for elite players, why should they squander their talents for little money, it's not like they are going to play forever. they play to make money and feed their families not make the team owners richer.

  2. Penaldo just want to steal the thunder and be in the limelight. Lately he has taken all, the wrong decision and let his fans down. Records follow me but it seem he is following money nowadays. Will play at the highest level. Lowest level in Saudi.

  3. He is my favorite player of all time, but he sold out. I am very disappointed he would lower himself to play in a 4th tier league and achieve nothing. This is definitely a tarnish on his career

  4. Pride comes before the fall, Gods rule shown again….Messi leaves with favor, a World Cup win…Ronaldo, crying, a whiny interview and rejected by all the players and managers,….priceless. "best version of themselves" 🤣🤣 Ronaldo is the definition of an effeminate male, a diva. Good luck.

  5. Not surprised… he probably has a pretty limited time left to play… the biggest teams did not bid for him or bid much less than he wanted so he is taking the huge pay to play in an easier team until he retires …. much luck and love to him and his family

  6. Messi went to league 1 and some said he was playing in the farmers league. Y'all see how things suddenly turn out for your favourite. I didn't support the idea of Ronaldo coming back to old Trafford but players will always do what's best for themselves and their families. Fans should learn to respect that. Wishing him all the best.

  7. As much as I'm sad to see the decline of CR7 career but I think he is accepting his decline due to age and is making a smart move of milking every $ he can while he is still in demand.
