  1. As a NUFC fan, MUFC is a better team, no doubt that they deserve the cup. Although we have done well to reach the cup final, its time to be ruthless and move to the next phase of the rebuild. They need at least 6 first time players and a new Manager in. EH has done very well since he joined us but I feel he is not the man to bring us to the next level.

  2. look. I think we all expected to lose tbh. but i just hope many fans know that this is the first final of many. like it or not we will be one of the top clubs in Europe in the next 5 years. just happy after my 18 years of living i can actually look forward to something with the club and not just mid table finishes every season.

  3. I'm so proud and not as upset as I would of been if I knew there wouldn't be a future or we didn't have hope. The drought is ending sooner than we think. Won't take another 24 years to make it to Wembley thats for sure.

  4. The main positive is surely that the Newcastle fans will never embarrass themselves more than they did with that choreographed flag waving again. Absolutely pathetic and worthy of a points deduction for embarrassing all true football fans.

  5. you had nothing positive about man utd, so it can only be positive about newcastle, none negative. not watching the video, btw….

  6. Man U fan here but I have to say Eddie and his team are doing brilliantly this season and as a rival it’s great to see Newcastle with so much history and great teams over the years to be doing so well 👌

  7. No positive, they are rubbish, and they can't be there again for next 45 yrs, they played awful, they let m.U to won this BIGGEST TROPHY in clubs levels, Energy drink cup 😣😭

  8. Many (clueless) people said they’d be the “richest club in the Championship” this season, not in a cup final and challenging for European spots.

First goal yesterday was from a vintage Man Utd free kick for nothing (a shoulder barge). Second was Karius missing a straightforward save.

Their problem is they lack a consistent goalscorer. Man Utd’s goal threat was the difference

  9. "is an optimistic mentality" enough…they have come a long way this season. they will have financial backing and will hopefully spend within FFP regulation, but will the "optimistic mentality" be enough or are they "lambs to the slaughter" with that type of mentality.

  10. Man united fan , but Newcastle should be proud of what they did and how far they have come. I have no doubt in my mind Newcastle are on the upwards trend and they will win a trophy soon.

  11. Just they are in final infront of a new look string Man united is something remarkabl .tbh…and is a positive sign..th3y still can get top four if they keep winning and that would be more than expected in this current season

  12. Newcastle United can take NO positives. For them, this was their moment. After years of failure under Mr. Ashley and the TOONARMY invading London giving banter to Sunderland fans (that were on their way Coventry) this was Newcastle's moment – this is not a poor Newcastle team (they will get better) but they were more than capable of at least scoring a goal against Manchester United in the cup final – but they failed on all levels. No positives.

  13. Yeah Newcastle really surprised us all with this season sensation form they are in, the team has already achieved so much for reaching the final, with two or more huge signing and they can compete for some silverware

  14. Worth remembering that we hadn’t beaten a Premier League in a cup competition for 8 years until this season. Last year, we we got knocked out by Burnley in one of the worst games I’ve had the displeasure of seeing live

  15. 0:11 – "A run stretching back to 1974, which is the longest of any club"
Sky Sports has never heard of Preston North End, have they? (last won a cup in 1938).

  16. Biggest positive is the ride or die fans. Say what you want about the club and owners but those fans would stick by that club all the way to hell I think. And when I say fans I mean the majority. Every club has die hards but at Newcastle that seems to be the average fan.

  17. Once they lost nick pope to a red card I known Man U would win. If nick was in the team and Ronaldo was still causing problems at Man U i think it might have been a different result
