Conflicts in PSG start raging with a new power after the club has been knocked out from the Champions League last week!
According to RMC Sport, the team has two clans of French-speaking and South American players that completely can’t get along. The first group believes that Latin players don’t have enough playing time, but at the same time, they receive large salaries and have huge privileges from the management.
Tensions between those two groups rose after the loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League and escalated even more after the defeat to Monaco in the French league. Right-back Ashraf Hakimi has a particular dislike for the South Americans, hence the 23-year-old Moroccan can follow the example of his best friend Kylian Mbappe and leave Paris right after him.
Moreover, there is an obvious uncertainty about the team’s head coach Mauricio Pochettino. PSG are not yet ready to fire him, as early contract termination with the Argentinean boss and his coaching staff will cost the club 20 million euros, L’Equipe indicates.
The Parisians will try to postpone that question to April as soon as they decide on a proper replacement for Pochettino. It is expected that it’s gonna be the French legend, Zinedine Zidane.
