Al-Sadd’s manager Xavi is close to being appointed to Barcelona. According to Mundo Deportivo, after an agreement in principle to return to the Catalan club, the parties negotiated on the terms of the contract. The Spanish specialist and the Blaugranas have come to a consensus on financial issues and the terms of the contract. Xavi will receive less at Barça than at the Qatari club. What’s more, Xavi receives a significant part of his salary only when the set goals are achieved. Xavi and Barcelona agreed a contract until the summer of 2024. Today the leadership of Barça will arrive in Qatar to finally set things up with Xavi’s return to the Catalan capital. He will be revealed as the Catalans’ new manager on Monday.
