Breaking news has just hit the world of football! Social media has been going crazy as rumours are starting to spread that footballer Mason Greenwood has been found innocent and relived of all charges made against him earlier this year. At the start of 2022 in January, upcoming talent Mason Greenwood got suspended by Manchester United football club for some very disturbing evidence that showed Greenwood doing unlawful things to his former girlfriend.
Harriet Robson, Greenwoods ex-girlfriend, posted to her Instagram with images of her injuries that the young footballer gave her. She also posted this piece of disturbing audio where Greenwood seems to be forcing himself upon her. She later deleted all the posts and claimed that she was very upset, as she didn’t want the pictures and audio to get out there and that her phone was apparently hacked. Weirdly after all of this, Harriet’s father still spoke well about Greenwood and stuck up for him. He quoted “We have also known him since he was under 21 years old. He has been a part of our family for two or three years now.” Harriet’s father continued “Their relationship was not good for the last few months. And this incident destroyed them. They loved each other very much and had to separate for a while.”
Since near the start of the year, we haven’t really heard much or had any updates on the Greenwood situation, but recently social media started to go crazy as rumours started to spread that Mason Greenwood had been found innocent. One source tweeted saying – “Breaking news: Mason Greenwood has been relieved of all charges levelled against him, He will join Man United’s squad for their pre-season tour and match against Liverpool. English FA announces.” No one knows for a fact if this is true or false, but many people find it hard to believe Greenwood is completely innocent with the amount of evidence that was shown against him. However, if this is true, Greenwood will be back in time to play the pre-season friendly VS Liverpool on July 12th.
