The French outlet France Football has submitted a list of 30 contenders for victory in the poll for this year’s Ballon d’Or. Believe it or not, they did not include the absolute record holder of the award – Lionel Messi and his teammate – Neymar. For the first time in 16 years, Lionel was not nominated for the main individual prize at the end of the year. There was a place for Cristiano Ronaldo though. Barcelona have announced the sale of Barca Studios 24.5% stake to Orpheus Media for 100 million euros. This deal complements the agreement signed on July 29 with Socios.com, which will serve to accelerate the growth of the club’s digital strategy, NFT and Web 3.
