The French government has called an emergency meeting with football authorities and the police to examine what went wrong at the Champions League final in Paris between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
Large crowds built up outside the Stade de France stadium, with the start of the game delayed for more than 30 minutes.
There were chaotic scenes before, during and after the match, with Liverpool fans accusing the police of brutal and intimidating tactics, including the use of tear gas.
The UK government said the images of what happened were “deeply concerning”, while the Mayor of Liverpool who was at the game described the conduct of the police as “completely unacceptable”.
The French authorities said the problems were caused because many Liverpool fans had turned up with fake tickets.

I'm French and this events is the summary of what we live in France. Media cruelty, corrupted authorities, government that hates its own peaple. Macron and friends lies every day, and know they are lying but they don't fuck*ng car about democraty. We re-elected Macron because a huge brainwashing and manipulation are done on every television channel in France. But only 4% want this guy.

The french authorities got it wrong in every way possible and left police thugs to deal with it as they saw fit. It's only English fans so who cares? Fans told to get there early got there early and caused no trouble even though their patience was tested to the limits. Automated ticketing system didn't work. Hundreds if not thousands of fans with legitimate tickets who paid through the nose to travel to the biggest game of their lives had to go through all this and on top get beaten, tear gassed and robbed. Police were very brave beating and tear gassing women and children but nowhere to be seen when the French thugs turned up mugging and beating people. This about sums up the French for me. Will never ever go to that shithole city again. Someone has to answer for this. An absolute shambles. Also these jokers are hosting the rugby world cup next year and the olympics in 2 years time. What a joke!

The French government said yesterday that all CCTV around the stadium has been "inadvertently" removed. This country doesn't even know how to hide the evidence of the Muslim invasion it suffered in its capital anymore, so they are destroying the videos.

Yo estuve en el estadio. Los medios de comunicación de España (todos comprados por el gobierno de Sánchez, bufón y pelele del Foro de Davos, Bill Gates, Soros y Cia., igual que Macron), dijeron con repugnante manipulación, que los ingleses fueron los culpables por la falsificación de tickets. Lo que ocultaron fue que hordas de magrebíes robaron con extrema violencia con armas blancas, móviles, tickets y manosearon a niñas acompañadas de sus padres. Al terminar el partido fue peor. Ambas aficiones tuvieron que aliarse para defenderse de este putrefacto multiculturalismo de fronteras abiertas (6000€/mes nos cuesta cada menor no acompañado) que todos los gobiernos progresistas de Europa defiende, avala, subvenciona y permite para continuar con su delincuencia extrema a base de cuchilladas, violaciones y asesinatos. En España ya ocurre día tras día en cualquier ciudad y cualquier esquina.
