Chelsea ‘have been offered the chance to sign Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus’ with Thomas Tuchel’s side ‘also interested in a move for Raheem Sterling’ with both players entering the final years of their deals
Chelsea have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Manchester City star Gabriel Jesus and are also interested in signing his team-mate Raheem Sterling.
Both players are entering the final years of their contracts at the Etihad Stadium, with Jesus expected to leave the club after the arrival of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
The Evening Standard have reported that Jesus’ representatives are exploring all available options to him, with the Brazilian sounding out a number of clubs before making a decision on his future.

Jesus would be good value but he falls into that category of 'convenient' signings that have burned Chelsea over the past few seasons. He's good and he'd improve the squad a bit, but he's not going to dramatically improve the first team and, in all likelihood, he'll be as much of a squad player as he is at City. Next season there'll be another striker on the market and we won't go for him because we'll have Jesus on our books.
Not everyone likes Sterling but he has all the right profile attributes and he would be a big upgrade on what we currently have in terms of output. Maybe he only has another 3 years in the first team but he's such a technical player with the ability to get on the end of things, he could be at least an option off the bench for as much as 5-6 years, a bit like Anelka was while he was a blue. In a pinch, he can also play the false 9 position so personally I'd go for him over Jesus, I don't see the point in trying to get them both.

I think Chelsea should buy only Jesus not sterling because he is younger and versatile.
Sterling runs around drying his nails but over the last few seasons he’s been really effective. Double figures for goals & assists is the same as our player of the season Mason Mount. I think Pep just loses faith in some players and they rarely get that chance again. Sane is an example, john stones although he managed to turn it around
Look to be honest why get Sterling when Dembele is on his way and Lewandowski has a real chance of joining. I’d add Jesus, Lewa and Dembele with Pulisic/Ziyech leaving the club. I STILL think Werner has mad value for the club because he’s shown glimpses. Ziyech has been piss poor idc if it’s fitness or injuries.
Raheem Sterling fits Tottenham's system. Kane, Kulusevski, Son, and Sterling would wreak havoc on the PL.
